20+ English Idioms, Slang Words and Phrases from Just ONE Episode of an American Sitcom
For this lesson, I watched a single 25-minute episode of one of my favorite American TV shows thinking about watching it from an English learner’s perspective. I took notes on all the words and phrases I thought would be difficult for non-native speakers to understand and this is what I discovered:
There were over 20 English idioms, phrases, and slang words that you would never find in an English textbook!
I’m sure I even missed some. This video is packed with advanced English vocabulary words not only from the idioms I will teach you but from related idioms and the explanations and examples I teach!
This lesson is probably best suited for intermediate to advanced English learners.
I talk at a native English speaker's pace for most of the explanations, so it's great practice for listening to fast English. If it's too fast, remember you can always slow the video down in the YouTube settings.
